Try it live
The repository’s example app: three tabs of launches, search and a profile, against a GraphQL API with ~180 launches. Everything runs in your browser, and the data is yours: favourite, schedule, break things. ↻ Restart puts it back.
Things to try
Section titled “Things to try”- Count the requests. Tap 1 request, top right of Launches: the header, the list and every row on the first screen came in one request. Tap it to see what it asked for. Scroll down to load more and check again: one more. See Batching & waterfalls.
- Slow the network down. On that screen’s Dev tools, set the latency to 2 s, go back and open a status segment you have not opened yet: placeholders, then data, from the same widget code. See Loading states & errors.
- Open a launch. Its name and status appear at once: the list already had them. Only what the list did not show is fetched. The cache counts under Dev tools show each launch stored once. See Caching.
- Toggle a favourite. The heart fills before the server answers. Go back: the list row and the Me tab agree, with no refetch. See Mutations.
- Schedule a launch. Tap + on Launches. The “Live” banner and the row follow it through lift-off and landing as the server pushes updates. See Subscriptions.
Each guide also has a smaller demo of its own concept, next to the code it runs.
